Is it possible for people to be true to themselves and not be false to others in the real world? Why or why not?

It is hard to be true to themselves and not be false to others in the real world. You always want certain people to view you differently. If you hang out with a specific group of people and you like something different then they like then you are not going to admit that you like that thing because you don’t want to seem like an outcast. Teenagers are always trying to fit in their individuality gets lost. Some teenagers might disagree and say they are always upfront about themselves but they are in denial. Everyone does it. For example, you wouldn’t be cursing, drinking or smoking right in front of your parents (unless you really are hot mess) but when you are at a party you are the craziest one there. Maybe that example is a little too extreme for everyone but you get what I’m saying.
